Yes I used my lathe for the drilling of the hole. If i turn shaft the magnets are a bit out of center, next time i will have to be more precise.
I wanted to place an order on http://www.amazingmagnets.com/ but didn't find the part, after a chat with the support they said its now known as H118-240-063-DM and the prices are:
Unit Cost @ 100: $1.75 /pc
Unit Cost @ 1k: $0.55 /pc
Does anybody else want to buy a batch? With 3 we have more than 3 times more magnets for the same price. _________________ Do try this at home! |

Hi,
what do you thing about that servos as donors:
(i'm new so i can't post links)
They are in Hobbyking, search for Mi Digital:
Mi Digital High Torque Metal Gear Servo JR/Hitec 11.8kg / 0.07
Mi Digital High Voltage Metal Gear Servo 8.40kg / 0.03
They already has magnetic encoders.
Has anyone knew what encoder should we expect ? |

This picture shows the magnetic encoder.
But from that image its impossible to say what output it gives.
Most likely it would be an analog output, then they can use the normal servo circuits. _________________ Do try this at home! |

Does anyone have any V3 boards, magnets, open encoder boards they want to sell? I am looking for about 8 sets of stuff to start a project and do not have the potential to make any boards.
Thanks,
Bill |

| Sorry I haven't been checking here regularly. I have non-populated OSv3's magnets, and misc parts. It also appears that basicfox might have some stuff as well. |

| Guess I am guilty of not checking also. Any chance I could purchase some of the parts you have? Maybe 4 sets to start? |
