Hi, new here. Electrical engineering major. Taken a couple of digital controls courses. May be able to contribute.
I just downloaded the nightly build of the 1.x/2.x branch and tried to build for the attiny45. I changed everything I could find but if I'm seeing things right there is no support in pwm.c for the attiny. Is that correct?
Right now I'm just looking but I may eventually use it. Avoiding the 3.x stuff for now as if I use it, it will need to be prototyped with homebrew kit. Cool project in any case. Some things that I noticed, might like to see,
HMI support (hitec robot servo protocol)
pid.c doesn't use any integral term, why not?
ipd.c -- cool, didn't see this mentioned on the website |

Hi blackbodypie and welcome!

There is, but you might have to go back a few CVS revisions. I will dig this out for you.

We found it too unstable, and the windup caused oscillations. Because the motors are so small it was found that the integral term was not really needed.
Again, if you look through the attiny branch revision logs, you can see the it went in, came out, went in again and finally stayed out.

Looking forward to your thoughts.
