i can't tell from the vid, but does that have legs that move back and forth or is a rotating half wheel type arrangement. Either way pretty cool.

rhex was an unusual type of hexapod with six half circle “legs”. It appeared some years ago and was designed to be an all-terrain type robot. There was going to be software and a hardware platform: but I haven’t seen anything new about it in years. I just had a quick look around the net and could only find the “old stuff”. Although maybe these guys are picking it up?

Impressive video. I noticed it is by the same group as the Big Dog

I find Big dog a very impressive piece of robotics, especially when it recovers from the kick. I do find it a little creepy for some reason Confused

i have my face robot head set up for mocap but whats missing is the motion capture hardware! i'm looking for hardware to rent or buy to start doing motion capture for face robot! but i'm not sure where to start! most of the mocap i'm aware of r ment for full body mocaps not explicit for faces, so i'm wondering if anyone knows how i can proceed with this
