Hi,

finally i got my Openservo running on my prototype joint for robotic arms/legs.
I modified the power stage to drive higher currents using the integrated H-Bridge L298. (I will post the schematics when i have it completely in a digital form Smile )

Pics and Videos say more then 1000 words:

(no link posting possible, sry, just remove blank spaces)

I've built in a springback, dont know if it has any advantages in reality, but it works like expected. That's what prototypes are for Wink

The torque, measured with a kitchen scale, is approx. 690Ncm.

I also tried to use a 12bit magnetic rotary encoder from Austria Microsystems, AS5045, instead the potentiometer, but i haven't got any useable results yet, i think the magnet i use is too strong.

If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, please let me know.

regards,
reefer
