Well, just stumbled over the "Announcements" forum (not that it isn't just the top most forum on the front page ...)

I have a small (unluckily only low-priority) hexapod robotic hobby-project. The present state is that the beast is controlled by some central uc and an additional servo-controller, with working inverse kinematics and some rudimentary sensor input processing.

The next step would be to decentralize the motion control logic. Using OS controllers as part of it would be quite nice, specifically because its firmware is open-source.

Professionally, I'm working in the field of applied mathematics, slightly more precise, my research interests are finite element discretisations for free boundary problems.

Best regards,

Claus

Welcome!

I look forward to your work with the OpenServo on your hex. I will be posting my OpenServo hex soon, so keep checking back.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
