Hi
I'm happy to join your community.Im completly novice in motion control and drives.I need some guidance to start.
1.What i need to buy to build basic project eg feedback control speed of motor with use of an encoder
2.How to put all hardware together

Hi and welcome along.

Are you looking to upgrade an RC servo or are you looking to modify one such that it supports full rotation? The wiki is a good place to get a lot of good info.

A basic setup could include the OSIF and OSV3. By connecting them to a PC's USB, and installing the OSV3 in a common RC servo, you can control the servo via PC program.

Yup full rotation is supported with OpenEncoder often short handed as OE. The board can be purchased on batchPCB's service at this page.

I see OE is no longer the top rated board on batchPCB, if you like the board please vote for it, it's kind of fun having the top rated board.

I have several of the SLA shafts, and a pile of the magnets. If your interested in making an OE board, let me know and I can sell some to you.
