An element of my camera mount project will require the pan mechanism to follow the movement of a hand operated lever. The intention is to translate the overall movement into a series of curves in motion control to deliver smooth movement.

But if the servo is mid curve and I want to intercept it and ask it to move to a new position, how would I go about it?

I don't yet have an OS, so I'm trying to visualise how I will achieve this. I'm also a total newb in electronics, robots, motion control and servos.

Is it possible to disable curves mid curve, read the Tout at that point, re-enable curves and graft Tout onto the Tin of the revised curve, and still maintain smooth movement?

In addition, can some one give me some idea how you go about addressing the servo to rotate over 360 degrees?
