Wow, what a great site!
Well, currently I'm driving my wife crazy with my fascination for bi-ped robot balance (on points, not flat foot). She hates that I will be spending money on components in which she is hardly interested. She calls it, ""raising the taximeter.""
A little about me. I was a programmer out of high school for about ten years only to end up in Houston as the director of Planning, Urban Design and Development. My training is primarily Architecture and Urban Design out of Berkeley (Masters) and the University of Miami (B.Arch).
My interest in robotics stems from my teenage years. I stay awake at night thinking about the robot that I will build. In a very short time, my programming and technical appreciation has dramatically increased with a fire and passion to learn and build. |

Welcome to OpenServo!
I hope you will share your experiences with us over the trials and tribulations of your robot build. It should be interesting to see how you overcome the issue of balance without flat feet.
please don't hesitate to ask any questions and contribute any information you can.
